Very expected game in Manresa where La Bruixa d'Or (0-2) was crushed by Regal FC Barcelona (2-0) 88-69 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-69. Regal FC Barcelona dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to La Bruixa d'Or's 30. Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the charge for the winners and Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Regal FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Regal FC Barcelona will face G.Canaria 2014 in Las Palmas in the next round where they are favorite. La Bruixa d'Or will play on the road against Unicaja Malaga and hope to win that game.
