Regular Season Round 3: Tortona - Roseto 71-66

Tortona used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Roseto 71-66 on Wednesday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Roseto won fourth quarter 12-8. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jaye Crockett (201-91, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Georgian forward Giga Janelidze (199-95, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Roseto. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tortona will face Aget Service IM in Imola in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Roseto will play at home against Recanati and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
