But Recanati was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Reggio Calabria 79-69 on Thursday night. The game was mostly controlled by Reggio Calabr.. Recanati was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. The former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (203-82) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Alessandro Zanelli (187-92) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Recanati. Reggio Calabr. will face Treviglio at home in the next round. Recanati will play against Roseto and hope to win that game.
