The most exciting game of round 4 in the Eredivisie took place in Leeuwarden. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Leeuwarden (2-2) to eighth ranked Rotterdam (1-2) 92-91 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leeuwarden. The guests trailed by 21 points after three quarters before their 35-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Miles Jackson-Cartwright (190-92, college: Pennsylvania) replied with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American swingman Phillip Bach (193-90, college: Santa Clara, agency: Court Side) added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Leeuwarden. Four Leeuwarden players scored in double figures. Leeuwarden's coach Tom Simpson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Rotterdam left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Leeuwarden at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Den Helder. Rotterdam are looking forward to face league's leader Leiden at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Leeuwarden will play against the league's second-placed Zwolle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
