Regular Season Round 4: LKS Lodz - AZS UMCS 78-95

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked LKS Lodz (0-3) was defeated at home by fifth ranked AZS UMCS (2-1) 95-78 on Saturday. The game without a history. AZS UMCS led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and swingman Dawid Mysliwiec (195-88) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Wojciech Piera (184-94) responded with 15 points and 7 assists and point guard Maciej Kochaniak (185-94) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Four LKS Lodz players scored in double figures. LKS Lodz's coach Piotr Zych tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. AZS UMCS moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with 4 other teams. LKS Lodz at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with three games lost. AZS UMCS will face Piaseczno (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. LKS Lodz will play against the league's second-placed Gimbasket Przemysl and hopes to get finally their first victory.
