Regular Season Round 4: Paris-Levallois - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 70-71

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Paris-Levallois (2-2) was edged at home by tenth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (2-2) 71-70 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-70. Pau-Lacq-Orthez dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Paris-Levallois' 18. American players dominated the game. Quite impressive performance for power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Antywane Robinson (203-84, college: Temple, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Blake Schilb (201-83, college: Loyola, IL) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez and five Paris-Levallois players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 9 other teams including defeated Paris-Levallois. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will face Chalons-Reims at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Paris-Levallois will play against JDA Dijon and hope to win that game.
