Rather predictable result in Mikawa where third ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (4-1) beat 5th ranked Takamatsu FA (2-3) 82-68 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Hamamatsu Phoenix made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Mo Charlo (203-83, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Furuhashi Hiroki chipped in 14 points. American power forward Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import swingman Justin Watts (196-90, college: N.Carolina) added 11 points respectively for the guests.
