Regular Season Round 5: Mulhouse - Vichy 60-79

Date: October 18, 2014
Bottom-ranked Mulhouse Basket is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked JA Vichy (4-1) 79-60 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. JA Vichy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Guard Alexandre Mendy (190-90) nailed 15 points for the winning side and American-Italian swingman Ryan Zamroz (192-87, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Mario Porter (198-80, college: Rider) came up with 15 points and American power forward Marcus Kitts (205-89, college: William & Mary) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Mulhouse Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JA Vichy moved-up to second place. Mulhouse Basket lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost. JA Vichy will meet at home Saint Vallier (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mulhouse Basket will play against Rueil (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
