Regular Season Round 3: TLU/Kalev - Rapla 54-68

Rather expected game in Tallinn where TLU/Kalev (0-3) was defeated by TYCO Rapla (2-1) 68-54 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 34-16 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. TYCO Rapla dominated on the defensive end, holding TLU/Kalev to just 4 points in fourth quarter. TLU/Kalev was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Lithuanian point guard Ernestas Ezerskis (192-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 7 rebounds. Latvian forward Kristers Zeidaks (203-90, college: Grand Valley St.) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Erik Luts (201-86) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Ivar Tulit (200-88) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TYCO Rapla will face TTU in Tallinn in the next round. TLU/Kalev will play on the road against Valga Kalev and hopes to get finally their first victory.
