Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Artego Bydg. (2-1). They were defeated by AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (2-1) 93-76 on Saturday night. It was a great evening for American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international center Izabela Piekarska (195-85, college: UTEP) helped adding 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American guard Chineze Nwagbo (183-82, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Julie McBride (165-82, college: Syracuse) scored 17 points and 6 steals. Artego Bydg.'s coach Tomasz Herkt rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Artego Bydg. will play next round against Konin. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski will try to continue on its current victory against CCC Polkowice on the road.
