Another exciting game was played in Saint-Amand between Tarbes and Union Hainaut where Tarbes (1-0) beat Union Hainaut (0-1) on the road 83-72. The game was mostly controlled by Tarbes. Union Hainaut was better in second period 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tarbes forced 21 Union Hainaut turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Tarbes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tarbes will play against Nantes Reze on the road in the next round. Union Hainaut will play against Lyon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
