An interesting game took place in Seu D'urgell where Cadi La Seu (0-2) was upset on its own court by Perfumerias Avenida (1-1) 73-50 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-50. Perfumerias Avenida dominated on the defensive end, holding Cadi La Seu to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Cadi La Seu 40-20 including a 34-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Angelica Robinson (197-87, college: Georgia) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin-American swingman Eshaya Murphy (181-85, college: USC) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Perfumerias Avenida's coach Alberto Miranda felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dutch forward Marlou De Kleijn (182-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) responded with 13 points and guard Tania Perez (183-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Perfumerias Avenida will face Al-Qazeres in Caceres in the next round. Cadi La Seu will play on the road against Socinsa Bembibre and hope to win that game.
