Regular Season Round 4: Tromso - Centrum 71-68

Centrum (0-3) was very close to win a game against top-ranked Tromso (4-0) on Sunday. Tromso managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tromso outrebounded Centrum 43-32 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Forward Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb used entire bench in such tough game. The former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Centrum. Four Centrum players scored in double figures. Tromso have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Centrum at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Tromso are looking forward to face Baerum Basket in Bekkestua in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
