Regular Season Round 4: Roseto - Recanati 78-81

Bottom-ranked Roseto (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Recanati (2-2) 81-78. The guests were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 22-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Roseto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Recanati players scored in double figures. American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall) replied with 22 points and 5 assists and naturalized French center Sylvere Bryan (208-81, college: Tampa, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Roseto. Recanati moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Aget Service IM and Treviglio. Roseto at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Recanati's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ravenna at home and it may be quite challenging game. Roseto will play against Piacentina in Piacenza and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
