There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Sigma Barcellona (2-2) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked FCM Ferentino (2-2) 85-69 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-69. FCM Ferentino made 20-of-20 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Naturalized Cameroonian center Paul Biligha (200-90, agency: Players Group) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized American swingman Ryan Bucci (192-81, college: LIU Post) chipped in 24 points. Canadian-Jamaican swingman Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five FCM Ferentino and four Sigma Barcellona players scored in double figures. FCM Ferentino moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Trieste and Sigma BRC. FCM Ferentino will face Mantovana in Mirandola in the next round.
