Regular Season Round 3: Sevilla - Fuenlabrada 68-71

A very interesting game took place in Sevilla. It ended with only three-point home defeat of Sevilla (0-3) to Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (1-2) 71-68 on Sunday evening. Sevilla was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 19-14 charge of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Andy Panko (204-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jimmy Baron (191-86, college: Rhode Island) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis (211-95) came up with 11 points and 5 rebounds and American-Georgian point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St.) added 11 points respectively for Sevilla in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada's next round opponent will be CAI Zaragoza at home. Sevilla will play against UCAM Murcia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
