08 Stockholm (2-1) recorded a loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Mark Basket (2-1) 83-57. The game was mostly controlled by Mark Basket. 08 Stockholm managed to win second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mark Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to 08 Stockholm's 30. Mark Basket forced 19 08 Stockholm turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Corin Adams (174-88, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. Her fellow American import Ashley Daniels (186-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Four Mark Basket players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Luciana Jonson (167-91) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Emelie Enjebo (180-92) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mark Basket is looking forward to face Solna Vikings at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. 08 Stockholm's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Stockholm to the arena Alvik Basket.
