Date: October 21, 2014
Nassjo's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Umea, where they outplayed Umea (1-6) 87-66. Umea was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 45-22 second half run of Nassjo. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 30 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Nassjo forced 22 Umea turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Brenton Butler (188-87, college: Fordham, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93) helped adding 12 points and 5 assists. Four Nassjo players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nassjo (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Jamtland and Solna. It was Umea's sixth loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
