Regular Season Round 3: Hapoel Holon - Bnei Hertzeliyya 71-64

No shocking result in a game when Hapoel Holon (2-1) beat at home Bnei Hasharon (0-3) 71-64. It looked good early as Bnei Hasharon took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Holon had a 22-20 second period charge getting the lead and Bnei Hasharon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-71. Hapoel Holon dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bnei Hasharon's 36. The best player for the winners was naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (204-85, college: St.Thomas) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). American Tony Crocker (201-87, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Devin Ebanks (206-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 16 points and the other American import point guard Josh Selby (188-91, college: Kansas) added 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals respectively. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon's next round opponent will be Maccabi Ashdod on the road and are hoping to win another game. Bnei Hasharon will play against Hapoel Eilat and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
