The most surprising game was the first loss of Obras (6-1) in Comodoro R. on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked GECR Indalo (3-4) 86-73. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Obras. The game was mostly controlled by GECR Indalo. Obras managed to win third quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Carlos Schattmann (193-87) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 assists. American center Sam Clancy (202-80, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds and forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Obras. GECR Indalo maintains sixth place with 3-4 record. Obras at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Regatas C.. GECR Indalo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Obras will play at home against Wuber-Est.Bahia and is hoping to win this game.
