There was a minor upset in Saporro where 3rd placed Chiba Jets (2-3) were edged by sixth ranked Hokkaido L. (2-3) 76-74 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 25-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was guard Tomokazu Abe (180-85) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.
