There was no surprise when 9th ranked Karlovka (1-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Levice (5-1) 93-81. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Karlovka's 36. Levice had a 31-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 12 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian forward Eddi Jurjevic (202-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. point guard Robert Becarik (183-91) answered with 25 points and Lukaas Hoferica added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Karlovka. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Levice moved-up to third place. Karlovka lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with six games lost. Levice will play against league's leader Inter Bratislava at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Karlovka will play against Handlova (#6) to get more than just one victory in their record.
