Regular Season Round 4: Dublin Inter - UL Eagles 63-66

Important game to mention about took place in Dublin. Sixth ranked UL Eagles (2-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Dublin Inter (2-2) 66-63 in the game for the third place. UL Eagles players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Dublin Inter was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Scott Kinevane (175-87) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Lithuanian forward Irmantas Griksas (202-86) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and international power forward Aurimas Statkus (201-81) added 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Dublin Inter. UL Eagles moved-up to third place. Dublin Inter at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with DCU Saints and UCD Marian. UL Eagles will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dublin Inter will play at home against Belfast Star and hopes to get back on the winning track.
