Regular Season Round 5: Sokol Lancut - SKK Siedlce 92-69

Bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Sokol Lancut (4-1) 92-69. It looked good early as SKK Siedlce took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Sokol Lancut had a 23-18 second period charge getting the lead and SKK Siedlce was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-92. Sokol Lancut made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Szymon Rduch (196-89) who scored 24 points. Power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Sokol Lancut players scored in double figures. Sokol Lancut's coach Dariusz Kaszowski felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sokol Lancut. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Spojnia. SKK Siedlce lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be GKS Tychy (#5) on the road. SKK Siedlce will play against GTK Gliwice (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
