Regular Season Round 5: Sanda - Huddinge 56-87

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Huddinge (4-1) rolled over 8th ranked Sanda Basket (1-3) in Huskvarna 87-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Huddinge led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Huddinge forced 23 Sanda Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 52-27 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sanda Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Raphael Edibe orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. Georgios Sastre contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Enarsson Jacob answered with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sanda Basket. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Huddinge have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of South leader, which they share with Malbas and IK Eos. Loser Sanda Basket keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Huddinge will face Brahe Basket (#10) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sanda Basket will play on the road against Eskilstuna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
