Round 7 in Extraliga means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Bratislava where host Inter Bratislava (6-1) beat league's leader Rieker KN (6-1) 87-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Rieker KN. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-71. Inter Bratislava forced 21 Rieker KN turnovers.
