Regular Season Round 3: Tarbes - Bourges 57-69

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Tarbes (2-1) was defeated at home by Bourges (2-0) 69-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Bourges. Tarbes was better in third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for the former international guard Paoline Salagnac (176-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. Australian center Marianna Tolo (196-89) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Alexandria Bentley (170-90, college: Tarbes, agency: Josep and Nicolas) with 15 points and Ukrainian center Valeriya Berezhynska (193-86, college: Rice, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Bourges will face COB Calais at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tarbes will play against Angers and hope to win that game.
