Regular Season Round 5: Tromso - Baerum Basket 75-72

The most exciting game of round 5 in the BLNO took place in Tromso. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Baerum Basket (3-2) to leader Tromso (5-0) 75-72 on Sunday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Tromso outrebounded Baerum Basket 44-25 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) stepped up and scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Billy Wilson (203-84, college: N.C.Central) chipped in 14 points and 17 rebounds. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Johannes Dolven (200-96, college: Drake) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Flavien Davis (196-92, college: Montana St.) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. Tromso have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Baerum Basket at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Tromso are looking forward to face league's second-placed Asker Aliens on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Baerum Basket will have a break next round.
