Rather expected game when 3rd placed Chieti (3-2) was defeated at home by leader Treviso Basket (5-0) 63-59 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 29-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Tommaso Rinaldi (206-85, agency: Interperformances) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American forward Marshawn Powell (201-90, college: Arkansas) chipped in 4 points and 16 rebounds.
