No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Niigata Albirex (6-2) defeated at home 10th ranked Fukushima (1-7) 82-75 on Sunday. The game without a history. Niigata Albirex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) who scored 25 points. point guard Hirotaka Kondo (187-82) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Four Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. Niigata Albirex's coach Fujitaka Hiraoka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Verdell Jones III (195-89, college: Indiana) produced 24 points and point guard Masaya Karimata (178-88) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests.
