Regular Season Round 3: Dolomiti En. TR - AV Cantu 83-71

There was a surprise result in Trento where Dolomiti En. TR (1-2) defeated AV Cantu (1-2) 83-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Dolomiti En. TR. AV Cantu was better in third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Tony Mitchell (198-89, college: Alabama) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. Four Dolomiti En. TR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-89, college: Marquette) with 19 points and 4 assists and Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (208-91) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Dolomiti En. TR will face Enel Brindisi on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
