The most exciting game of round 8 in the LigaA took place in Buenos Aires. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Argentino (4-2) to eighth ranked Boca Juniors (2-5) 69-66 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Argentino. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-66. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jonatan Treise (186-85) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Matias Sandes (201-84) who added 6 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Boca Juniors players scored in double figures. Boca Juniors' coach Carlos Alberto Duro used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. point guard Franco Balbi (185-89) responded with 16 points and center Jose Ignacio Alessio (203-87) scored 14 points. Boca Juniors moved-up to seventh place. Argentino at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost.
