Fourth ranked Baerum Basket (3-2) crushed at home 6th ranked Centrum (1-4) by 22 points 92-70, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Baerum Basket. Centrum was better in fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baerum Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Johannes Dolven (200-96, college: Drake) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. American forward Flavien Davis (196-92, college: Montana St.) contributed with 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. The former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) added 15 points in the effort for Centrum. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Baerum Basket moved-up to third place. Centrum at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Baerum Basket will have a break next round. Centrum will play on the road against Gimle BBK (#4) in Bergen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
