Date: October 28, 2014
Very expected game in Hod Hasharon where Hasharon (0-2) was defeated by Ironi Ramat Gan (2-0) 84-78. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hasharon won third quarter 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ironi Ramat Gan players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Bosnian-Croatian Dragan Bender (205-97) notched 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and American guard Kwame Vaughn (190-90, college: CS Fullerton) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Ironi Ramat Gan players scored in double figures. Even 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) by American guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Hasharon. point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. Ironi Ramat Gan will play against Hapoel Kazrin at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
