The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of BrGU COR Victoria (1-1) in Brest on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Gorizont (2-0) 94-48. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BrGU COR Victoria's 22. Gorizont forced 21 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers. International guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 assists. Ukrainian center Oksana Stepanyuk (190-95) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Gorizont players scored in double figures. Guard Katsiaryna Shastsilouskaya (179-93) replied with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Khrystina Batsanova (165-96) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BrGU COR Victoria. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorizont is looking forward to face Olimpia GrGAU in Grodno in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BrGU COR Victoria will play on the road against RGUOR in Minsk and is hoping to win this game.
