No shocking result in a game when second ranked Rieker KN (7-1) beat 5th ranked Iskra Svit (5-3) in Komarno 83-72. The game was mostly controlled by Rieker KN. Iskra Svit was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American forward P.J. Alawoya (203-88, college: McNeese St., agency: KMG Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Marek Kozlik (187-86) chipped in 17 points. Alawoya is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Iskra Svit's coach Rudolf Jugo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rieker KN keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Inter Bratislava. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Rieker KN's next round opponent will be Prievidza (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day.
