The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Haukar (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Breidablik (1-4). Haukar managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73. It looked good early as Breidablik took an 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Haukar took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Haukar have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Keflavik and Snaefell. Newly promoted Breidablik keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Haukar's next round opponent will be Valur in Reykjavik. Breidablik will play on the road against KR in Reykjavik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
