The game in Solna supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (6-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Solna Vikings (2-5). Norrkoping Dolphins smashed Solna Vikings 91-68 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Solna Vikings managed to win second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Solna Vikings to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Solna Vikings 40-28 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Croatian guard Toni Prostran (181-91) notched 23 points to lead the effort and Sudanese-Canadian forward Mangisto Arop (198-90, college: Indiana St.) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 12 points and 4 assists by American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Solna Vikings. Guard Tim Schuberg (188-95) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Norrkoping Dolphins have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Solna Vikings keep the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Eco Orebro. Norrkoping Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Solna Vikings will play against Nassjo (#10) and hope to secure a win.
