Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked KFUM Blackebergs (1-5) were defeated on the road by third ranked KFUM Uppsala (5-1) 71-61 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Uppsala. KFUM Blackebergs was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Uppsala forced 21 KFUM Blackebergs turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 20 on the offensive glass. Forward Oliver Ehrnvall (197-96) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Samuel Eliasson Godonou (185-93) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Shawn Guy Mbemba (191-81) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Robin Ryan (191-87) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. KFUM Uppsala maintains third position in North with 5-1 record behind leader Fryshuset, which they share with 08. Loser KFUM Blackebergs dropped to the tenth place with five games lost. KFUM Uppsala will face LF Future (#6) in Lulea in the next round. KFUM Blackebergs will play at home against Jarfalla (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
