Regular Season Round 4: Denain - Roanne 59-70
Date: October 31, 2014
Very significant was Chorale de Roanne's 70-59 road victory against one of their biggest challengers Denain Voltaire. The game was mostly controlled by Chorale de Roanne. Denain Voltaire was better in third quarter 20-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by the former international forward Luc-Arthur Vebobe (202-80, college: Hawaii, agency: Comsport) who scored that evening 13 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Charles Jackson (203-87, college: Hawaii-Pacific, agency: Court Side) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by Vafessa Fofana (198-92) did not help to save the game for Denain Voltaire. William Howard (201-93) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Denain Voltaire's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Chorale de Roanne (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Denain Voltaire at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Chorale de Roanne will play against league's second-placed Monaco at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Denain Voltaire will play against Lille Metropole (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
