Very important is a home loss of second ranked BC Rakvere (3-2) against leader Kalev/Cramo (2-0) on Friday night. Host BC Rakvere was defeated by Kalev/Cramo in Rakvere 89-79. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. BC Rakvere was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Brazilian-American point guard Scott Machado (188-90, college: Iona, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place. BC Rakvere at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Parnu.
