Regular Season Round 4: Orchy - Hyeres-Toulon 82-64

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Hyeres-Toulon (3-1) in Orchies on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Orchesien BC (3-1) 82-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hyeres-Toulon. The game was mostly controlled by Orchesien BC. Hyeres-Toulon managed to win second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American Chris Daniels (200-82, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and guard Pierric Poupet (191-84) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Kyle Spain (196-87, college: San Diego St.) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Charlie Westbrook (193-89, college: S.Dakota) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orchesien BC moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Hyeres-Toulon. Orchesien BC is looking forward to face Nantes on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Fos Ouest in Fos-sur-Mer and is hoping to win this game.
