The game was mostly controlled by CREF Hola. Ciudad Adelantados was better in fourth quarter 16-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CREF Hola dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Ciudad Adelantados' 32. The best player for the winners was Canadian swingman Kendel Ross (185-88, college: Dayton) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jamaican center Tajay Ashmeade (190-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. CREF Hola's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Chenise Miller (183-91, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Gamble Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Laura Bejarano (182-82) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. CREF Hola will face IF Air Europa in S'Arenal in the next round. Ciudad Adelantados will play on the road against Alcobendas and hope to win that game.
