Regular Season Round 6: Nancy - Cholet 98-94

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Cholet Basket (3-3) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Sluc Nancy (3-3) 98-94 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 29-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Sluc Nancy made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Sluc Nancy looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Four Cholet Basket players scored in double figures. Sluc Nancy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Cholet Basket. Sluc Nancy will face STB Le Havre (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Cholet Basket will play against SO Maritime Boulogne (#18) and hope to win that game.
