Bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to leader Unicaja Malaga (5-0) 74-59 on Sunday evening. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Unicaja Malaga's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-13 extending their advantage to 15 points. The best player for the winners was Uruguayan-Italian point guard Jayson Granger (188-89) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American-Georgian Will Thomas (203-86, agency: Two Points) chipped in 8 points and 11 rebounds. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
