Regular Season Round 10: Shinshu BW - Saitama Bron. 91-81

Bottom-ranked Saitama Broncos (0-10) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to seventh ranked Shinshu BW (4-4) 91-81. The game was mostly controlled by Shinshu BW. Saitama Broncos was better in fourth quarter 30-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shinshu BW players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Carl Hall (203-89, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 7 assists (on 15-of-17 shooting from the field). American-Somalian forward Mohamed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Shinshu BW's coach Ryuji Kawai allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Brian Ormon (203-84, college: Mountain St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Gary Johnson (198-91, college: Albany) added 23 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Shinshu BW maintains seventh position with 4-4 record. Saitama Broncos at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
