Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Sendai 89ers (7-3) outscored on the road 10th ranked Fukushima (1-9) 82-55 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-55. Sendai 89ers outrebounded Fukushima 56-39 including a 41-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sendai 89ers made 8 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St., agency: KMG Sports Management) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
