Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Casalpusterlengo (2-3) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Angelico Biella (4-2) 65-53. It looked good early as Casalpusterlengo took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Angelico Biella took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 12 points. It was a good game for American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. American-Danish guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Power forward Mitchell Poletti (205-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Cuban Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Casalpusterlengo. Casalpusterlengo's coach Andrea Zanchi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Angelico Biella moved-up to third place, which they share with Novipiu Casale and Agrigento. Newly promoted Casalpusterlengo dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Angelico Biella's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Forli (#16) on the road which should be an easy win for them. Casalpusterlengo will play against Givova Napoli (#6) and hope to win that game.
