Regular Season Round 6: GKS Tychy - Sokol Lancut 62-81

The game in Tychy supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Sokol Lancut (5-1) played at the court of 5th ranked GKS Tychy (3-3). Sokol Lancut did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 81-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. The game without a history. Sokol Lancut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for Szymon Rduch (196-89) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Sokol Lancut's coach Dariusz Kaszowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Marcin Wrobel (200-87) replied with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Piotr Halas (190-87) added 10 points, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for GKS Tychy. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Sokol Lancut have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Spojnia and Krosno. Newly promoted GKS Tychy keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be AZS PP (#12) in Poznan and are hoping to win another game. GKS Tychy will play on the road against GTK Gliwice (#10) and hope to win that game.
