Regular Season Round 11: CD Castro - Osorno 85-84

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Liga Nacional took place in Castro. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Osorno (6-4) to second ranked CD Castro (8-2) 85-84 on Sunday evening. Osorno was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 22-17 charge of CD Castro, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Swingman Rodrigo Munoz (186-80) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 assists and American guard Darren Moore (190-89, college: Cal-Irvine) added 26 points respectively for the guests. Osorno's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. CD Castro keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Osorno at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. CD Castro is looking forward to face Espanol de Talca (#4) on the road in the next round.
